The Interdisciplinary Project is a special year-long project undertaken by all G7 and G8 students. The IDP requires students to apply and combine the knowledge they are learning in creative and non-prescribed ways.

For the IDP, students work in small groups to integrate their combined knowledge and skills across two disciplines to create a product of their own choosing. There is one dedicated IDP session per cycle.

IDP Academic Disciplines

What each group chooses to create is entirely up to them. As a group, they have to communicate, negotiate and compromise in order to decide how best to combine their creativity, interests and talents. They are required to keep track of their progress through a Process Journal.

Each group is assigned a teacher supervisor to help guide and mentor them on their journey. At the end of the academic year, each group will showcase their hard work to the wider school community.
