Our Learning Hub is more than just a library. It is a place where 21st century learning takes place. Our Learning Hub has a collection of over 1000 books in its first year and we will continue to increase our library stock and resources. Apart from the physical books that we have, we also employ Library CEO as our centralised library management platform which allows students to search for books easily. Students will be informed of the latest book recommendations and reading activities through the platform. We will also adopt more eReading resources and devices to encourage eco-friendly and highly accessible reading.
Mini lectures, conferences and reading workshops are regularly scheduled in our Learning Hub. Our Learning Hub welcomes teachers across all subjects to bring their students there for lectures. Research and reading skills needed for different subjects can be built through these lectures. Students in groups are also encouraged to utilise our conference room for learning or student-initiated meetings. Furthermore, if students need a quiet place for self-study, they can visit our self-learning center for some focused study time.
Reading needs to be shared. In order to help our students build a good reading habit, our Learning Hub is a good platform to let students share their knowledge and skills. With our regular reading recommendations, students can freely share their ideas and recommendations about their favourite reads.
